This SWL contest is to encourage listening to medium wave and shortwave AM radios stations. This SWL contest is open to SWL’s all over the WORLD. 

You must respect the rules and be honnest. If you dont respect the SWL contest rules your list will not be accepted.

Note: The sponsors cannot always send prizes internationally. 

Have fun! You can use your radio receiver, your antennas or your SDR on your computer and antennas but it is also possible to use a WEB or WebSDR – but the SDR must be always at the same place.

Example if you use the Web SDR in Twente Netherlands Europe you must make all your listening from this web SDR on SW and MW.

You can choose to use Web SDR in Europe or on another continent. It’s not necessary the kiwi or web SDR to be on your continent. Example you are in Asia and you can use a web or kiwi SDR in North America.

Category 1:

LISTENERS WHO WILL USE WEB SDR or KIWI SDR ON A COMPUTER ON INTERNET

You must listen ON ALL SHORTWAVE bands (maximum of bands if possible) a maximum of transmitters on shortwave, example you listen transmitter to Mali on 41 meter, 22 meter, 15 meter but only one transmitter from Mali on each SW bands)

For medium wave listen only one transmitter from a country.

Example if you use the Web SDR in Twente Netherlands Europe you must make all your listening from this web SDR on SW and MW.

Your WEB or KIWI SDR must be always at the same place.

Category 2:

LISTENERS WHO WILL USE REAL RADIO RECEIVERS AND ANTENNA OR SDR (Like SDRplay) AND ANTENNA.

The listeners of this category will receive the best gifts from our nice sponsors.

You can listen on all shortwave bands as possible for a maximum of transmitters in the world.

Example you listen transmitter Mali on 41 meter, 22 meter, 15 meter but only one transmitter from Mali on each SW band)

For medium wave because MW is only one band (listen only one transmitter for example in Netherlands and no more transmitter from this country on medium wave)

SW they are 14 bands on shortwave.

Example on 13 meter 21.45 to 21.45 MHz you listen transmitter from China, Mali, France, etc

On 16 meter 17.48 to 17.9 MHz you listen transmitter China, Oman, Italia, etc

On SHORTWAVE band only one transmitter is possible to list on each SW band,

Example if you lister MALI on 16 meter dont listen another MALI transmitter for this 16 meter band.

But is you listen MALI on other SW bands its OK.

VERY IMPORTANT

You must send your list before 10 January 2024 to swlcontest@gmx.fr

Logs receive after 10 January will be not valid.
