And yet another reminder of our schedule change, probably more for my benefit than for yours. The Friday 1300-1330 UTC broadcast of Shortwave Radiogram has moved to Wednesday 1330-1400. The frequency is the same: 15770 kHz from WRMI Florida.
The previous week I missed the first five minutes of the 1330 UTC show, and this week I missed it completely. I was preoccupied with the deadline for my monthly column for the North American Shortwave Association – but I should have had a reminder programmed into my PC. Anyway, I do now.
Fortunately, listeners were tuned in, even if I wasn’t, including Fred in Virginia and Dmitry in Russia.
A video of last weekend’s Shortwave Radiogram (program 342) is provided by Scott in Ontario (Wednesday 1330 UTC). The audio archive is maintained by Mark in the UK. Analysis is provided by Roger in Germany.
Here is the lineup for Shortwave Radiogram, program 343, 23-28 February 2024, in MFSK modes as noted:
1:44 MFSK32: Program preview
2:52 MFSK32: Use of decimal point is older than thought
6:30 MFSK64: Russia labels RFE/RL “undesirable organization”*
10:11 MFSK64: This week’s images*
27:56 MFSK32: Closing announcements
