Our experiment last week with Persian text was largely successful. Thank you for your reports.

The decodes even worked with signals so weak that the opening voice and music announcements were unintelligible. See this thread on Bluesky for examples from Finland and Australia. 

Paul in New York state asked Microsoft Copilot about his reception and decode of Persian text. In its lengthy essay, Copilot stated: «You saw it fill in from the left and push characters to the right because of how FLDIGI reconstructs UTF-8 sequences when they arrive slightly out of order or with timing jitter.» Also: «MFSK32 is one of those modes that quietly shows off its engineering when you feed it something difficult — like right-to-left UTF-8 Persian text — and it still comes out clean.»
