During the afternoon, while napping, I received an email from WINB indicating that they were not able to retrieve this weekend’s program that I uploaded to their FTP site. I tried again under a different filename. If that problem has not been resolved, you might hear last week’s Shortwave Radiogram UTC Friday at 0030-0100 UTC on 9265 kHz.
Meanwhile, The Mighty KBC has greatly expanded its transmission schedule on WRMI. See the KBC section below for the new times and frequencies. I am not certain how much of the additional programming is repeats and how much is first-run. The minute of MFSK64 will be at 30 minutes past the hour on at least some of the Eric van Willegen programs.
Videos of last weekend’s Shortwave Radiogram (program 285) are provided by Darau Blė in Lithuania and Scott in Ontario (both Friday 1300 UTC). The audio archive is maintained by Mark in the UK. Analysis is prepared by Roger in Germany.
Here is the lineup for Shortwave Radiogram, program 287, 13-16 January 2023, in MFSK modes as noted:
1:37 MFSK32: Program preview
2:44 MFSK32: No more washing clothes with detergent?
7:12 MFSK64: Advantages of ancient Rome’s concrete recipe*
13:36 MFSK64: This week’s images*
27:44 MFSK32: Closing announcements (with surprise mode)
* with image(s)
