El programa 427 se repetirá del 28 de noviembre al 4 de diciembre de 2025.
Hello friends,
This reminder that the Shortwave Radiogram transmission on 7780 kHz from WRMI Florida has moved from Sundays to Thursday at 0930-1000 UTC.
I managed to forget it myself. On Thursday mornings, I’m busy producing the next SWRG.
Our friend and reliable reporter Fred in the Shenandoah Valley did listen. He had perfect decode of the MFSK32 text, but the preamble to the Montreal bus image failed. So did the RSID to MFSK64.
The best way to receive the 7780 kHz transmission is to fly to New Zealand and tune in from there. Or find an SDR in New Zealand or the southern Pacific region. The new KiwiSDR in Costa Rica would probably work, but it has a time-out of ten minutes.
Next week is Thanksgiving in the United States. I might repeat program 427 during that week, because of the holiday and because of roof work earlier in that week that I probably should keep an eye on. I’ll let you know via email and Bluesky.
A video of last week’s Shortwave Radiogram (program 426) is provided by Scott in Ontario (Wednesday 1330 UTC). The audio archive is maintained by Mark in the UK. Analysis is provided by Roger in Germany.
Here is the lineup for Shortwave Radiogram, program 427, 21-27 November 2025, in MFSK modes as noted:
1:39 MFSK32: Program preview
2:52 MFSK32: Spain’s RNE to shut down AM transmitters
8:06 MFSK64: Student launches German startup to tackle space debris
12:52 MFSK64: This week’s images*
27:55 MFSK32: Closing announcements
