Shortwave Radiogram
Hello friends, In addition to the SSTV images on his Slow Scan Radio broadcast, John Piek, PA0ETE, has been transmitting text modes, including the very fast 20xPSK63R In Fldigi you can find it under the PSKR Multicarrier op modes, although the RSID should automatically change Fldigi to this mode. TIVAR does have this mode, so add it to your mode list. The 20xPSK63R mode seems to perform better than the 8PSK modes, so we will try it this weekend on Shortwave Radiogram.
It will be a busy weekend on Shortwave Radiogram, with four modes (MFSK32, 20xPSK63R, MFSK128, MFSK64) and eight MFSK images.
Here is the lineup for Shortwave Radiogram, program 60, 10-13 August 2018, in modes as noted:
1:38 MFSK32: Program preview
2:58 Astronomers discover new planet not orbiting any star*
