As I type this, the windows in my office are open. Through the screen I can hear the grass-cutting machines, which seem to be a permanent feature in our neighborhood. Temperatures here in northern Virginia reached 87F/31C this week, and that’s what it is now. But a cold front will move in this afternoon, and maybe some storms with it. So I should finish this post before there are any electric power disruptions.
A video of last weekend’s Shortwave Radiogram (program 298) is provided by Scott in Ontario (Friday 1300 UTC). See also a Twitter video by Colton in Texas, demonstrating decoding by placing a Tecsun PL990 near a laptop computer equipped with Fldigi. The audio archive is maintained by Mark in the UK. Analysis is prepared by Roger in Germany.
